Little did I know that the Resort Hotel I booked was at the far end of the complex and we walked for ever to get there and followed the arrows to go to the rewards station. Why were we not advised when we registered? So we have lights, we are ready to head to the casino. Next we went to turn on the lights and after about 4 minutes pushing the switches (there are a lot of them lol) and no lights I called the front desk and was told there is a panel to the right of the door as you go out you have to push for the electricity to run to the lights. The upgrade furniture that they advertise may have been nice at one time but there are chipped. We get to our non smoking room and upon opening the door there was an unpleasant odor so we left the door open to air it out a bit. It might have been helpful if the person at the desk told us. We entered the elevator and it won’t work after several tries we left said elevator and entered another one where a hotel guest told us we have to use the room key. He handed use our room key and when I asked where the elevator was he gave us nice directions. The person at the desk was polite and we had a nice conversation discussing that this was our first time here.
Lack of Customer Service! This was our first time here at Cherokee and my husband and I came to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary.
